A traffic accident shortly after 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, shut down Scioto Street for an hour and sent at least one injured person to an area hospital.

The accident, near the intersection of Scioto and Finch Streets, involved a collision between a Chevy Blazer and a white pick-up truck.

Two people were injured in the accident and one was flown to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment, according to Urbana police. Scioto Street was closed for nearly an hour while the crash was cleaned up.
