SPRINGFIELD — Two Urbana men were indicted by a Clark County grand jury on arson charges Monday, Nov. 2, according to court documents.

Ronald McCormick, 49, address unknown, and Bobby Radcliff, 44, of 2332 Miami St., both of Urbana, were indicted on charges of arson and aggravated arson Monday, according to court records.

They are accused in an early morning fire at Slingblades, 2318 Lagonda Ave., last week.

Fire crews responded to the scene just before 1 a.m. Oct. 26, according to court documents.

Witnesses reported seeing two men trying to break into the business as the front of the structure burned, according to court records.

Police later found McCormick and Radcliff in the 1300 block of North Belmont Avenue, and upon further investigation, discovered items taken from the business and a white glove that smelled of gasoline, according to court documents.

They are expected to be arraigned later this week.
