Three people were stabbed late Wednesday, Aug. 26, after a dispute at a business in the 1900 block of Lagonda Avenue.
According to a report by the Springfield Police Division, the incident began when a man became irate during a game of pool at the business at 10:21 p.m. Witnesses told police the man pulled out a knife and began swinging it, injuring three people. At least two of the men were treated for their injuries at a local hospital. Several people tried to grab the man but he was able to flee the business, according to the report.
Officers were able to collect a surveillance video and several other pieces of evidence, but no arrests have been made yet.
