Police arrest man accused of domestic violence

Jon N. Johnson, 24, of 2015 Clifton Ave., was arrested on a charge of domestic violence Wednesday, March 17, according to a police report.

Johnson grabbed a woman he knew by the back of the neck and shoved her face-first into the ground in the 1600 block of Mitchell Boulevard around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, according to the report.

He was taken to Clark County Jail.

Woman reports $700 cash stolen

Thefts reported to police and sheriff’s deputies included:

• A woman from the 600 block of West Grand Avenue reported $700 stolen from the 1500 block of Villa Road between 11:56 a.m. and 3:10 p.m. Thursday, March 18.

• A man from the 100 block of South Springfield Street reported appliances, valued at $500, stolen from the 200 block of Stanton Avenue between 10 a.m. March 1 and 10 a.m. March 17.
