Man accused 
of grabbing a 
5-year-old

Richard L. Waters, 50, 218 N. Jackson St., was arrested on charges of domestic violence and child endangering.

He allegedly grabbed a 5-year-old boy he knew by the ears and picked him up, police said, and then slapped him at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, in the 1300 block of West High Street.

Waters was taken to the Clark County Jail.

Man arrested for domestic violence

Ramsey Dee Strader, 24, 527 N. Murray St., was arrested on charges of domestic violence, obstructing official business and two counts of child endangering.

Police alleged Strader passed out from intoxication while he was supposed to be watching the children of a woman he knew, and then threw her against a wall several times when she arrived at the house about 11:45 p.m. Thursday, March 11. He also pointed a shotgun at her head, police said, then threw her onto a couch and choked her.

When an officer arrived, he refused to listen to orders, police said, and repeatedly attempted to enter a room where the shotgun was until he was taken down and placed in handcuffs.

Strader was taken to the Clark County Jail.

Man arrested on domestic violence, drug charges

Paul E. Miller, 25, 1632 Allison Ave., was arrested on charges of domestic violence and drug possession.

He allegedly put a woman he knew on a couch, placed a knee on her chest and grabbed her around the neck at about 7 a.m. Thursday, March 11, police said.

He was taken to the Clark County Jail.

Man arrested on multiple charges

Brian J. Ward, 21, 1655 Highland Ave., was arrested on charges of domestic violence, drug possession and two counts of assault.

Police alleged he pulled the hair of a woman he knew, choked her and knocked her to the floor about 5:40 a.m. Thursday, March 11.

Ward also reportedly pushed another woman and struck a man several times, police said.

Ward was taken to the Clark County Jail.

Woman arrested on assault charge

Chelsea Megan White, 18, 735 Villa Road, was arrested on an assault charge.

Police alleged that she scratched and struck a man she knew about 10 p.m. Thursday, March 11, near Villa Road and Glouster Street.

White was ordered into court.
