New Carlisle — A mother and son are in jail after a fight that started in a Crystal Lakes bar.

Stacy L. Leitch, 41, and John W. Hicks, 20, both of 339 Stratmore, New Carlisle, were arrested on charges of domestic violence shortly after 1:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9.

According to reports, Sheriff officials received several calls about the two were allegedly intoxicated and arguing at a bar in Crystal Lakes. The argument turned to a physical altercation at the Stratmore address.

In addition to the domestic violence charge, Hicks was also charged with offenses involving underage persons.

A juvenile who was located at the Stratmore address was also found to have an unrelated warrant for her arrest.

She was taken into custody and transported to the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center.
