A Springfield man reported a ring was stolen from his home today, Nov. 24.

According to a report by the Springfield Police Division, at 5:15 a.m. a man in the 800 block of West North Street reported someone entered his home and stole a ring, valued at $1,275. The man also reported someone ransacked his home and had sprayed soap and lotion all over the windows.

There were no signs of forced entry.
