A Medway man was arrested late Friday, Oct. 30, after he was accused of breaking into a home and threatening to shoot its residents.
According to information from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Paul C. Ashley, 41, of 28 Maple Drive, Medway, was arrested on charges of burglary, aggravated menacing and criminal damaging. He was taken to the Clark County Jail.
Information from the sheriff’s office shows at 11:50 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to a home in the 100 block of Forest Drive in Crystal Lakes on a report of a break-in. The homeowner reported someone had kicked in the front door and ransacked the home before fleeing.
However, the report showed the homeowner called deputies around midnight and said Ashley had returned to the home and threatened to shoot those inside. He then fled the scene again, damaging two vehicles in the driveway. He was located at Crystal Lakes and taken to jail.
