A Springfield man was arrested Sunday, Nov. 1, after he was accused of striking a man he knew with a sledgehammer after a dispute over a bicycle.
According to a report by the Springfield Police Division, Clifford G. Bock, 61, of 315 S. Burnett Road, was arrested on a charge of felonious assault after the incident at 10:51 p.m.
The report showed Bock and another man argued over a bicycle, and Bock was accused of striking him with a hammer and a sledgehammer before a witness called police. According to the report, Bock was also treated for an injury and was taken to the Clark County Jail.
