    No one was injured after a shot was fired at two Ohio Division of Wildlife officials in Champaign County late Friday, Oct. 30. The bullet pierced the windshield and reportedly traveled between the two wildlife officials as they sat in their vehicle, patrolling for deer poachers. A short pursuit followed and the two men were taken into custody.

    The bodies of a man and woman found shot to death in the parking lot of Jellybean Junction daycare facility in Fairfield had gunshot wounds to the head. The bodies were discovered by a lawncare service employee in a Jeep Cherokee at Mack and Winton Roads around 9:15 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26 -- three hours after the daycare center opened.

    An alleged burglar was injured after a homeowner caught the man in his home at the corner of Rose and East Streets Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 16, 2009. The homeowner discovered the burglar around 12:30 p.m., a struggle ensued and the intruder was taken by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital where he's reportedly in good condition.

    Members of the Clark County Sheriff's Department and German Twp. Police responded to the Happy Valley Mobile Home Park Wednesday after neighbors reported Aaron Moore, 22, fired an assault weapon in the air during an argument with his girlfriend. Moore fled the scene after the incident. Officers searched the area but only found the weapon in a wooded area near the park.

    Photos from the trial of the men charged in the robbery and death of Johnny "Spiderman" Sowers. Prosecutors said Sowers, 54, known as Spiderman because of spider tattoos on his head and forehead, met Chad Jordan, 25, Ryan Smith, 30, and Christopher Harvey, 27, March 7, 2008, at a downtown Piqua bar. Sowers was last seen alive leaving the bar with the three when the bar closed early because of a snowstorm.

    Members of the Springfield Police Division investigate a drive-by style shooting at the intersection of South Fountaine Ave. and West Singer St. Friday, June 26, at approximately 10:25pm. Two unidentified people were transported to the hospital with gun shot wounds following the shooting. The victims condition was not available.

    SOFAST, the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team, is a group led by the U.S. Marshals and made up of representatives from various law enforcement agencies. The group's purpose is to serve active warrants, both local and federal, and apprehend wanted fugitives. SOFAST goes on daily roundups from 6 a.m. to noon.
