Firearms stolen during burglary

Two handguns and an iPod were stolen from a Springfield home Thursday, Feb. 4.

According to a report by the Springfield Police Division, a man in the 700 block of Knickerbocker Avenue reported someone entered his home between 10:10 and 11:55 a.m. Prescription drugs, an iPod, and two handguns were missing, according to the report. A storm door was also damaged, and fingerprints were taken from the scene as evidence.

The items were valued at $1,345.
