Fatal crashes in Clark County down 70 percent

Fatal crashes in Clark County are down from last year by more than 70 percent, according to a news release from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

There have been seven fatal accidents in the county this year, according to the release.

That’s a 70.8 percent drop from the 24 fatal crashes in 2008.

In 2007, there were 22 fatal crashes county-wide, according to the release.
