Logan Cole had been at Nationwide Children’s Hospital since the Jan. 20 shooting at school. His father, Ryan Cole, posted a video of the welcoming party on his Facebook page.
“Logan Cole is home! Thank you to everyone who came out to welcome him home. You guy are awesome. We could not dream of having better friends,” Ryan Cole wrote on his social media page.

The 16-year-old West Liberty-Salem High School student shot in school Jan. 20 continues to improve while recovering at a Columbus Hospital.
Logan Cole is at Nationwide Children's Hospital. He was shot twice with a shotgun when he walked in on suspected shooter Ely Serna in a restroom, deputies have alleged.

Ryan Cole, Logan’s dad, posted on Facebook on Monday night about his condition.
“The report from the wound surgeon was good,” he wrote. “They put a wound vac on the back. She said that the wound in the back is about half the size it was when he came in on Friday. She took some tissue samples to be sent off and checked for infection, but she said she saw no evidence of infection.”

He also said he was grateful for the support they’ve received.
“Thank you so much to everyone for lifting Logan up in prayer,” Ryan Cole said. “PRAISE BE TO GOD.”
