Stolen rental car recovered, man arrested


A Dayton woman reported her Enterprise rental car stolen by a man she knows from her neighborhood.

According to the victim, Edward Clark was in her vehicle and took off in her rental car while she went inside a location in the 1600 block of Bancroft Street.

The car was tracked down and Clark was placed into custody. Pending charges include theft, obstructing official business, parole violation and prior drug charges. He had warrants out for his arrest.

He has two court dates on the docket, the first for the theft charge on Wednesday, Apr. 30 at 1:45 p.m. and the second Thursday, May 1 at 8:30 a.m. for the drug charges.
