Police were called to a home in the 800 block of East Columbia Street in August in reference to a burglary.

The victim said he noticed headlights shining into his home as he was getting ready for work earlier that morning. When they hadn’t disappeared by the time he walked back through his home, he came outside and allegedly saw Fenwick attempting to pull his washing machine through his backyard and load it into a vehicle, according to court records. His dryer had already been strapped to the car.

When spotted, she allegedly told a man who was driving to leave and the both of them fled, according to court records. The victim chased the car into the street but lost sight of it.

The victim claimed Fenwick allegedly forced open the door to his porch where the washer and dryer were. The victim said he knew Fenwick was the alleged suspect as he recognized her from when she dated his brother in the past.
