Dreama D. Rice, 26, faces one count of burglary and one count of resisting arrest. She plead not guilty in the Clark County Municipal Court on Wednesday, according to court records.

Rice allegedly entered a home in the 1200 block of Highland Avenue on Wednesday morning and was discovered hiding in an upstairs bedroom closet by a man staying there. She then allegedly left through the upstairs bedroom with a smart TV and a laptop, records said.

While officers were doing interviews at the scene, another officer found Rice in the 1000 block of Middle Street. As she was being detained, she pulled back and attempted to kick the officer multiple times.

She was arrested at about 5 p.m. Wednesday morning and placed in the Clark County Jail.
