Dale Earnhardt Jr. to retire from NASCAR following 2017

Police seek help identifying Urbana robber


Police are seeking a man suspected of robbing an Urbana liquor store.

The man pointed a handgun at an employee at Lil’s Drive Thru, 636 Scioto St., around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said he demanded money from the employee. He took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man fled the scene on foot, authorities said.

He is white and has a slender build. Authorities said he is just under 6-feet tall and had been wearing light-colored blue jeans, a dark, hooded sweatshirt with “FBI” across the chest, and dark sunglasses.

The employee was not injured.

Anyone who may have information on the suspect is asked to call Urbana police at (937) 652-4350.
