Deondre Davis, the other man charged with murder in the case, died Tuesday after his family took him off life support. Davis’ charges were dismissed following his death.
Additionally, Joe Deters says a third gun was found and they have not found the suspect who might have shot it. That person will also face 38 counts and a possible 230 years.

His death brought the number of fatalities from the shooting up to two.

Deondre Davis is on life support and is in a non-responsive state, his lawyer told our partners at WCPO.
"He's on complete life support machines," said defense attorney Carl Lewis. "The family is praying and believing that whatever is God's will, will be. At this point it is our belief … that he will not make it through the night."
Davis’ family said they believe he is innocent.

Cincinnati Police Department held a news conference Thursday evening to announce a “significant update” in the weekend nightclub shooting.
Davis’ name was released Wednesday by police as a gunshot victim.
There is evidence others are involved and police are continuing their investigation, said Cincinnati Police Chief Eliot Isaac.
The incident began with a fight inside the nightclub involving several people.
Police are trying to determine who fired the shots.
At least 16 shell casings were recovered at the scene, but police believe more shots were fired from at least three guns.
The majority of people struck by gunfire were club patrons, Isaac said.
Two of the surviving victims are graduates of Trotwood-Madison High School, including 26-year-old Jarrod Givens.

9-1-1 audio
Police reports and emergency dispatch audio were released Thursday from Cincinnati’s worst mass shooting that left one man dead and 16 others wounded.
“We were in the club. They shouldn’t be shooting in the club,” one 9-1-1 caller said.
Emergency dispatch recordings highlight the urgent need for help at the club.
Dispatcher: “9-1-1, what is the address of your emergency?”
Caller: “We need an ambulance at Cameo ... he’s been shot, there’s blood everywhere.”
In each of those calls, no one could answer who was shooting. The callers’ focus was on getting help for the victims.
Dispatcher: “Ma’am, they’re already coming, OK?”
Caller: “I need them to come, he might not make it. I need someone to hurry up, please.”
Dispatcher: What part of his body is shot, ma’am?”
Caller: “I don’t know, he’s got blood all over his body.”
The victims
The victims – 14 men and three woman who ranged in age from 24 to 33 – were shot shortly before 1:30 a.m. Sunday by multiple gunmen inside Cameo Night Club located at 4601 Kellogg Avenue.
One man was shot in the head, another in the back and stomach, and another person was shot three times, records show.
O’Bryan Spikes, 27, was fatally shot in the chest. Of the other 16 victims, all but two – who remain in critical condition at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center – have been released from Cincinnati area hospital, police said.

Two of those wounded are Trotwood-Madison High School graduates.
