Large rock thrown through window of Springfield wireless store

Two watches were stolen from a Springfield wireless store after a large rock was thrown through the front door of the business, according to a police report.

Springfield Police Division officers were sent to the AT&T wireless store at 1636 N. Bechtle Ave. on a report of an alarm at about 1:20 a.m. Thursday evening.

When officers arrived, the large rock was still laying inside the store, the report said. The manager told police two watches were missing.

The men were wearing gloves and masks, so no prints were able to be taken, the report said.

The watches were valued at about $350 each, the report said.
