A Springfield man being held in the Clark County Jail was charged with felonious assault after allegedly punching an inmate in the face and causing serious injury. According to a report, a dispute erupted when one of the men cut the other in line.
Woman accused of driving drunk with four children in car
A Springfield woman was arrested and accused of driving under the influence and child endangerment after being pulled over by authorities Monday. According to a report, officers found an empty beer can and a half-full brandy bottle in the woman’s car as she was traveling with four children ranging in age from 7 months to 17 years old.
Man accused of filming child while showering
A New Carlisle man is facing multiple charges after authorities allege he set up a cell phone camera to film an 11-year-old girl while she showered. A Clark County deputy was sent to the home of the child after her mother contacted police claiming to have found nude images of her daughter on the man’s phone.
Man accused of having large amount of drugs, fleeing police
A Springfield man is facing drug charges after reportedly throwing away a large bag of drugs while fleeing police. According to a police report, authorities were investigating a robbery at a hotel when two suspects entered, then fled after spotting officers. Police claim the bag the man allegedly tossed had 60 grams of drugs and 260 Oxycodone pills.
