“The activity at the house was extremely heavy,” Clark said. “It seemed like it was going on for some quite some time.”
A news release provided by the sheriff’s office estimates the drugs allegedly found in the home are worth nearly $125,000.
“Investigators discovered inside large amounts of narcotics and cash,” the release says. “Additionally, two substances believed to be crystal methamphetamine with a street value of approximately $32,000, 7.2 ounces of a tan powder substance believed to be a cocaine and fentanyl mixture with a street value of approximately $28,000 and approximately 16 ounces of a liquefied substance believed to be an undried form of cocaine fentanyl mixture with a street value of approximately $64,000.”
Also in the home was about $3,500 in cash and some prescription pills, deputies alleged. Clark said the house was littered with needles and Narcan.

McClanahan and Wilcox each face one count of felony drug possession and one count of trafficking in drugs. Both pleaded not guilty in Clark County Common Pleas Court on Thursday and their bond was set at $20,000 each.
Arresting drug dealers is important to the sheriff’s office, Clark said.
“Every time we take drugs off the street it makes a difference,” he said. “Whether or not it’s a large amount like we have here or whether it’s a small amount it makes a difference. It prevents someone from overdosing, it prevents someone using that night.”
