Car crashes into tree in Logan Country

The 22-year-old driver of a black Pontiac, Samantha J. Vanhouten, was flown to Grant Medical Center in Columbus after her car went airborne and hit a tree, just north of West Liberty in Logan County Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011. Her condition was unknown by 4 p.m. Tuesday. The Logan County Sheriff's Office said the car went left of center, missing an oncoming car, and continuing off the left side of the road.
