Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted will visit seepex Inc. in Enon on Thursday to present a commendation for the company’s recent expansion.
Last year, the progressive cavity pump manufacturer built an $8 million, 50,000-square-foot addition to its facility and created 38 jobs, according to a news release.
In previous interviews, seepex officials said the expansion will allow the Springfield branch of the German-based business to do 90 percent of the company’s manufacturing. Previously the Springfield facility only did 20 percent.
Husted will present the commendation at 10 a.m., followed by a tour of the facility.
