The Springfield-Clark County Safety Council will host Mike Ammons of Safety Solutions at its Tuesday, Feb. 9, meeting.

Ammons will speak on personal protective equipment.

Safety seminar to highlight fundamentals

The Springfield-Clark County Safety Council will host a seminar Feb. 17 at the Courtyard by Marriott.

The program, “Safety 101: Fundamentals of a Successful Safety Program,” will include information from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the Ohio Bureau of Worker’s Compensation and the Ohio Division of Safety & Hygiene.

The program runs from 7:30 a.m. to noon and includes breakfast. Cost is $35; payment can be made in advance or at the door.
