The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce will welcome Ohio Gov. John Kasich to its annual meeting Feb. 16 at the Clark State Performing Arts Center.
The governor, in his first visit to Clark County since he took office in January, is scheduled to take the stage at Kuss Auditorium at 6 p.m. He will take questions from attendees after his address.
The annual meeting will commence at 7 p.m. with a special tribute to the late Dick Kuss and the presentation of the Richard L. Kuss Lifetime Community Achievement Award along with the awards for business of the year, small business of the year and minority business of the year.
The event begins at 4 p.m. with the Business Expo, followed at 4:30 by “Taste: Springfield,” a culinary tour of the areas’ restaurants.
Tickets are $65 each or $550 for a package of 10.
