Geospatial technology program offered in Beavercreek

Staff Report

BEAVERCREEK — Clark State Community College is inviting the public to obtain information next week about a geospatial technology program intended as training for careers in government and industry.

The informational session, intended for students and parents, is scheduled at 6 p.m. Monday, May 17, in room G115A at Clark State’s Beavercreek campus, 3775 Pentagon Blvd.

Clark State will offer the program beginning this fall. Students will be able to obtain a two-year degree.

The college created the curriculum jointly with the Advanced Technical Intelligence Center for Human Capital Development, a Beavercreek school, which trains people for careers as intelligence analysts, and contracting companies Woolpert Inc. and CACI International Inc.

Woolpert and CACI, which serve government clients, plan to have company representatives at Monday’s session to provide information on careers for graduates of the geospatial technology program.

For more information, call Clark State’s Beavercreek campus at (937) 429-8819, or contact Woolpert’s Kathryn Brown at (704) 526-3088 or at kathryn.brown@woolpert.com.
