The Springfield Elks lodge has purchased Northwood Hills Country Club and sold its downtown location.

“The Elks have purchased the club and members of Northwood Hills were all extended the opportunity to become Elks members,” said Gene Horner, president of Northwood Hills Country Club.

According to records from the Clark County Recorder’s Office, Northwood Hills Country Club, Inc. sold 15 parcels of land valued at $900,000 to the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks, Springfield Lodge #51.

The Elks will move to their new location at 1536 Villa Rd. in mid-January, Horner said.
