Dayton airport offers 'reward miles' for on-site parking

Staff Report

DAYTON — Dayton International Airport is offering travelers extra “reward miles” if they register with the Thanks Again network and park in airport lots.

From now through Jan. 15, travelers who use registered debit and credit cards for parking at the Dayton airport will be rewarded with double miles from an airline of their choice, airport officials said.

Travelers may enroll in the free program through www.thanksagain.com/DAY.

The airport is offering the program with its parking contractor, Republic Parking System, and Thanks Again LLC, a Tyrone, Ga., company that works with airports around the country to offer reward benefits for airport customers.

About 1.3 million people boarded flights at Dayton International in 2010. Business travelers typically account for about 60 percent of the airport’s passenger traffic.
