Agriculture development expert at Tecumseh Land Trust event

Tecumseh Land Trust and Center City Association will host a presentation by Leslie Schaller, a founder of the Appalachian Center for Economic Networks (ACEnet), from noon to 1 p.m. Oct. 15 in the Bushnell Banquet Center, 14 E. Main St.

ACEnet is a business incubator that has supported food and agricultural product development for 17 years. Schaller will discuss the potential for value- added processing and products in Springfield and surrounding areas.

Lunch by Season’s Bistro and Grille will feature seasonal local food. Optional discussion with Schaller will follow lunch. Cost is $20 in advance or $25 the day of the event.
