2 Dayton-area companies awarded Air Force work

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — Two companies said they have received separate contracts for work serving agencies located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

Sawdey Solution Services, Beavercreek, said it was awarded a $2.7 million contract to provide consulting and data analysis services to the Defense Department supercomputing resource center within the Air Force Research Laboratory.

Sawdey said it is partnering with the Greentree Group, another Beavercreek company, on the five-year contract.

BTAS Inc., an information services provider, said it received a $2.5 million task order to provide system security support for the Aeronautical Systems Center’s engineering program office. BTAS said it is recruiting information assurance engineers, along with acquisition experts and logistics specialists.
