St. Patty's Day drunk driving crackdown begins

CHICAGO — State, county and local police throughout the Midwest will begin a drunk driving crackdown through the St. Patrick's Day holiday starting today, March 12, according to a press release from the National Highway Traffic Administration.
Authorities from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin are participating in drunk driving sweeps through St. Patrick's Day on Tuesday, March 17.
