Two arrested after drug package was delivered to home
Two people were arrested Saturday, July 5, after a package of crystal methamphetamine, with an $11,000 street value, was delivered to a Bethel Twp. home, according to Clark County sheriff's deputies.
Elura Ruth Ford, 44, of 468 Weinland Drive, was arrested on charges of drug abuse/ possession, a seconnd-degree felony, tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree felony. Ford was taken to Clark County Jail, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.
Stacy A. Green, 45, was arrested for unrelated felony and misdemeanor warrants for domestic violence and assault and taken to Clark County Jail.
The Clark County Sheriff's Office was alerted by the Dayton Police Department Drug Interdiction Unit that a package containing illegal drugs was scheduled to be delivered to the Weinland Drive residence, according to deputies.
Detectives from the sheriff's office obtained a search warrant and set up "a controlled delivery" to the residence.
The package contained 110 grams of crystal meth.
Detectives also found cash, additional drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the home, and additional charges could be filed at a later date, according to Lt. Eric Holmes.
Woman allegedly stabbed man with
a pair of scissors
Andrea Martin, 28, of 224 N. Western Ave., was arrested on charges of domestic violence-physical harm and assault-simple-physical harm Saturday, July 5, according to a police report.
Martin allegedly stabbed a man she knew in the shoulder with a pair of scissors, according to the report.
Teen accused of assault, damaging Oesterlen facility
A 15-year-old male resident of Oesterlen Services for Youth, Inc. at 1918 Mechanicsburg Road was arrested on charges of assault-simple-physical harm and criminal damaging/endangering-knowingly, according to a police report.
He assaulted a 16-year-old boy he knew and damaged the Oesterlen facility, according to the report.
He was released back to Oesterlen personnel.
Man is accused of punching a woman
in the mouth
Roscoe A. Kidd, 43, of 551 E. Northern Ave., was arrested on charges of domestic violence-physical harm and assault-simple-physical harm Saturday, July 5, according to a police report.
He allegedly stuck a woman he knew in the mouth with his fist, according to the police report.
Kidd was taken to Clark County Jail.
