Flu season still active; vaccine limited

Health department officials in the Miami Valley are warning residents that flu season is not over, and they have a limited supply of the vaccine available.

Flu season sometimes peaks in March, the Green County Combined Health District said in a release. it is not too late to get a flu vaccine.

The department will offer walk-in clinic hours from 8-11 a.m. and 12:30 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays. It will also have them from 4 to 6 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month.

The vaccine is recommended for anyone 6 months of age and older. The cost is $25 for adults, $15 for children.
