The following graduation candidates accepted a minimum of $5,000 in renewable and nonrenewable scholarships:
Chelsey Renee Adamson, daughter of Mike and DeDe Adamson, will attend the University of Findlay. She accepted a $9,000 Merit Scholarship from the University of Findlay.
Stephen David Barnett, son of Dave and Claudia Barnett, will attend Wright State University. He accepted a total of $5,750 in scholarships from Wright State University and Clark County 4-H Committee.
Kerri Danielle Beedy, daughter of Sean and Sandy Beedy, will attend Ohio Northern University. She accepted a total of $22,000 in scholarships from Ohio Northern University and Jim Murray.
Jamie Lynn Bowermaster, daughter of Steve and Dianne Bowermaster, will attend Wittenberg University. She accepted a total of $17,000 in scholarships from Wittenberg University.
Trevor Edward Brown, son of Alan and Angela Brown, will attend Wittenberg University. He accepted a total of $32,950 in scholarships from Wittenberg University, Springfield Foundation and Wittenberg Alumni.
John Hughes Campbell III, son of John and Pam Campbell, will attend University of Dallas. He accepted a total of $10,000 in scholarships from University of Dallas and Graham/Kreuger Scholarship.
Kelsey Lynn Claar, daughter of Jeff and Cindy Claar, will attend Wittenberg University. She accepted a total of $20,000 in scholarships from Wittenberg University, Wittenberg Music Department, Wittenberg Alumni and Springfield Center City Association Miss Holiday in the City 2010.
Alexis Ann Crisp, daughter of Roger and Debra Crisp, will attend Wittenberg University. She accepted a total of $15,500 in scholarships from Wittenberg University and Wittenberg University Music Department.
Colin Nathaniel DeSpain, son of Colin DeSpain and Angela Harden, will attend Tiffin University. He accepted a total of $5,500 in scholarships from Tiffin University and Sun Trust Off To College Scholarship.
Seth James Dixon, son of Scott and Sara Dixon, will attend Northwestern University. He accepted a total of $47,979 in scholarships from Northwestern University, National Merit Scholarship, Harry T. Lagos and Eugenia P. Lagos Memorial Scholarship and Springfield Foundation.
Jordan Vail Hellwig, son of Evan and Kelly Hellwig, will attend Cedarville University. He accepted a total of $9,000 in scholarships from Cedarville University and Community Blood Center.
Alexander James Henz, son of John and Karen Henz, will attend Wright State University. He accepted a total of $17,486 in scholarships from Wright State University, Springfield Kiwanis Club and Clark County 4-H Advisory Committee.
Kelsey Rae Holcomb, daughter of James and Catherine Holcomb , will attend Kent State University. She accepted a total of $18,580 in scholarships from Clark County 4-H Committee, Miami Valley Chapter, Ohio Credit Union League and Kent State University.
Hillary Paige Kelly, daughter of David and Melissa Kelly, will attend The Ohio State University. She accepted a total of $5,000 in scholarships from The Ohio State University College of Food, Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences, Richard T. Gosser Scholarship Foundation and The Ohio State University.
Sarah A. McLaughlin, daughter of Ben and Jodie McLaughlin, will attend Wright State University. She accepted a total of $6,500 in scholarships from Ralph Doyle Scholarship-Springfield New Sun, Union Club and Shriners.
Taylor Miller, daughter of Preston and Hydy Ripley, will attend The University of Toledo. She accepted a total of $6,500 in scholarships from Rocket Scholar and The University of Toledo.
Molly Cathleen Mullen, daughter of Joe and Cathy Mullen, will attend Ohio Northern University: Raabe College of Pharmacy. She accepted a total of $24,000 in scholarships from Ohio Northern University Trustee Scholarship and Ohio Northern University Musical Talent Award.
Dylan Luther Newsom, son of Mark Newsom and Wendy Fitzgerald, will attend Wittenberg University. He accepted a total of $15,000 in scholarships from Wittenberg University.
Allison Ann Parrill, daughter of Matt and Tina Parrill, will attend University of Findlay. She accepted a total of $15,500 in scholarships from University of Findlay President’s Scholarship, University of Findlay Institutional Award and Springfield Center City Association Miss Holiday in the City 2010.
Brooke Ashley Reid, daughter of Brad and Becky Reid, will attend Ohio University. She accepted a total of $9,500 in scholarships from Joannie P. Apfel, Ohio University Music, Merrill E. Wells Golf Scholarship, Clark Shawnee Local Education Association, Mr. Steve Haemmerle Memorial Scholarship and Union Club Scholarship.
Kevin Lynn Buchanan Rigsbee, son of W. Lynn Rigsbee and Laurie Buchanan, will attend University of Cincinnati. He accepted a total of $14,000 in scholarships from University of Cincinnati.
Benjamin Patrick Rowland, son of Barry Rowland and Sydney Axtell, will attend Purdue University. He accepted a total of $6,850 in scholarships from Purdue University and Springfield Foundation-Roy and Patricia Kohl Family Scholarship
Ashley Michele Sagle, daughter of David and Sherry Sagle, will attend Wittenberg University. She accepted a total of $15,000 in scholarships from Wittenberg University Academics and Music.
Nathan Blaine Silvus, son of Brad and Melanie Silvus, will attend Cleveland State University. He accepted a total of $5,100 in scholarships from Cleveland State University.
