The following graduation candidates accepted a minimum of $5,000 in renewable and nonrenewable scholarships:

Erika Back, daughter of David and Tammy Back, will attend Hanover College and major in pre-med/psychology. She accepted a total of $12,000 in scholarships from Hanover College.

Nicholas Brascetta, son of Michael and Marita Brascetta, will attend Virgina Tech University with an undecided major. He accepted a full ride athletic scholarship from Virginia Tech University.

Eric Burkitt, son of Michael and Nancy Burkitt, will attend Wright State University and major in pre-med. He accepted a total of $5,000 in scholarships from Wright State University.

Danielle Callicoat, daughter of Larry and Marcia Callicoat, will attend Bowling Green State University and major in marine biology. She accepted a total of $5,500 in scholarships from Bowling Green State University and KTH.

Chloe Cooper, daughter of Tim and Heather Cooper, will attend Miami University and major in pre-med. She accepted a total of $8,500 in scholarships from Miami University, Balmut STEM Scholarship, Christy Knotts and Ranae Donohoe Scholarship.

Jessie Jordan, daughter of Jim and Polly Jordan will attend the University of Wisconsin and major in textile designs. She accepted an athletic scholarship in excess of $5,000 from the University of Wisconsin.

Cody Lensman, son of Kenny and Mindy Lensman, will attend Mesalands Community College and major in agricultural business. He accepted a total of $5,300 in scholarships from Ohio High School Rodeo Association and Mesalands Community College.

Jonathan McMaken, son of Rich and Cindy McMaken, will attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and major in aerospace engineering. He accepted a total of $8,000 in scholarships from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Shelby Oren, daughter of Shannon Oren, will attend Taylor University and major in public health. She accepted a total of $11,500 in scholarships from Speedway and Taylor University.

Lindsey Phillips, daughter of Brian and Melanie Phillips, will attend Urbana University and major in business marketing. She accepted a total of $19,000 in scholarships from Urbana University.

Kyle Ryan, son of Mike and Beth Ryan, will attend Edinboro University and major in human performance/physical therapy. He accepted a total of $19,000 in an athletic scholarship from Edinboro University.

Matt Stephens, son of Greg and Laura Stephens, will attend Virginia Tech University and major in business marketing. He accepted an athletic scholarship in excess of $5,000 from Virginia Tech University.

Nicholas VanHoose, son of Roger and Lori VanHoose will attend Northwestern University with an undecided major. He accepted a total of $62,500 in an athletic scholarship from Northwestern University.

Darcie Zirkle, daughter of Steve and Robi Zirkle, will attend Wilmington College and major in agricultural. She accepted a total of $5,500 in scholarships from the Harmony Masonic Lodge #8 and Wilmington College.

The following graduation candidates were awarded renewable and nonrenewable scholarships under $5,000:

Eric Albright, son of Jeff Albright and Roberta Yoder, will attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and major in aerospace engineering. He accepted $1,500 from a scholarship from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Shannon Bodey, daughter of Richard and Gloria Bodey, will attend Clark State Community College and major in agricultural business. She accepted a $500 scholarship from the 4-H Economics Committee.

Jade Cain, daughter of Jonathon and Janet Cain, will attend Ohio University and major in accounting. She accepted $500 from a scholarship from KTH

Macy Calland, daughter of Paul and Joyce Calland, will attend Ohio University and major in special education. She accepted a total of $3,500 in scholarships from Graham Education Association, Champaign County Cattlemen’s Association and the Clara Beck Scholarship.

Renee Carnes, daughter of Roger and Bonita Carnes, will attend Urbana University and major in elementary education. She accepted a total of $750 in scholarships from the Champaign County Retired Teachers.

Ben Coleman, son of Eric and Jennifer Coleman, will attend Gallaudet University and majoring in secondary education/math. He accepted a total of $4,000 in scholarships from Gallaudet University.

Leah Deardruff, daughter of Ruth Miller, will attend Ohio Northern University and major in Spanish. She accepted a total of $500 in scholarships from Graham Education Association.

Emily Dudash, daughter of Steven and Mary Dudash, will attend The Ohio State University and major in animal science. She accepted a total of $4,100 in scholarships from Ohio National Guard, Ohio State University, Champaign County Cattleman’s Association.

Shelby Faulkner, daughter of Lenny and Zoe Faulkner, will attend The Ohio State University and major in agricultural communications. She accepted a $500 scholarship from the 4-H Economics Committee.

Ethan Hess, son of Stuart and Cheryl Hess, will attend Ohio Northern University and major in mechanical engineering. He accepted a total of $2,000 from Optimist Club of Urbana and the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame.

Jennifer Holland, daughter of Michael and Joanne Holland, will attend Edison Community College and major in education. She accepted a total of $500 in scholarships from KTH.
