Daughter of famed ace fighter pilot to discuss book at The Greene

BEAVERCREEK — Christina Olds, who co-authored a book about her father, military fighter pilot and squadron commander Robin Olds, will visit the Books & Co. store at The Greene on Wednesday, July 14, to discuss the book.

Her appearance is scheduled for 7 p.m. The book, “Fighter Pilot: The Memoirs of Legendary Ace Robin Olds (St. Martin’s Press),” was released this year.

Robin Olds, whose service with the Air Force continued through the Vietnam War, is a 2001 enshrinee of the National Aviation Hall of Fame.

His daughter wrote the book with Ed Rasimus, a retired Air Force fighter pilot who has written two books about the air war in Vietnam.
