Dogs going to any of the parks must be up-to-date on vaccinations and dogs that are defined by law (O.R.C. 955.11) as dangerous dogs or vicious dogs are prohibited. Most rules state that retractable leashes are prohibited.

- Drinking fountains will be installed in the spring, but until that time you will need to bring water for your dog.
- Animals other than dogs are not allowed.
- All dogs must be legally licensed, have current vaccinations and shall wear a visible license tag.
- Dog owners are solely responsible for the actions of their dogs. Please ensure that dogs do not escape the fenced area.
- Female dogs in heat are prohibited.
- Keep small children and infants under strict supervision.
- Dog feces must be cleaned up by the dog owner and put in receptacles.
- Dog owners must be in the fenced area and within the unobstructed sight of their dog(s), which must be under the control of visual or oral commands when not on a leash.
- Dog owner must immediately fill any hole their dog(s) dig.
- Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the park. Dog owners must have a leash in hand at all times.
- For the safety of the dogs and other users, please refrain from smoking and bringing food into the fenced area.
