Motorcycle collides with truck
A motorcyclist was injured after colliding with a commercial box truck at the intersection of Sunset Avenue and South Belmont Avenue in Springfield on Friday, March 16, 2012. The driver of the truck was not injured.

Submerged car in Buck Creek
Members of the Springfield Police and Fire Divisions worked with employees from Maine's Towing, Inc. to pull a submerged Buick from Buck Creek near the old Navistar Truck plant on Lagonda Avenue on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012. A local parks employee noticed a section of the car's bumper jutting above the water and called for assistance.
