Springfield, Ohio — The family of a woman who died of drug overdose at the Drake Motel in 2006 has filed a lawsuit against the man who was convicted in connection to her death.
Justine Bradley, 19, allegedly overdosed in Oct. 2006 after taking unknown quantities of Dilaudid and Xanax, according to Clark County sheriff's office reports.
Donald G. Robinson, 55, of Quincy, pleaded no contest in April 2007 to corrupting another with drugs and was sentenced to three years in prison, according to court records.
He was released from prison earlier this year.
Bradley allegedly checked into the motel with Robinson, where he supplied her with an unknown amount of drugs, according to sheriff's reports.
The complaint alleges Robinson gave Bradley Dilaudid cocaine, Valium and Xanax "for the purpose of preventing decedent's resistance to (Robinson's) sexual conduct," according to court documents.
Neither Robinson nor Julie M. Keener, Bradley's mother and the plaintiff in the lawsuit, could be reached for comment.
The lawsuit seeks more than $25,000 in compensatory damages.
