Food stamp replacement application hours extended

The Clark County Department of Jobs and Family Services has extended its hours for people seeking to replace food stamps.

Applications will be accepted from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today, Sept. 19, and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the WorkPlus Center.

This assistance is available to those who receive the Ohio Direction Card and lost perishable food as a result of the power outage. Applicants should bring a photo ID.

Those scheduled for an initial screening or intake through the BenefitsPlus division will receive priority. Call (937) 327-1872.

Individuals in need of rescheduling benefit redeterminations should contact case managers.

To reschedule child support appointments, contact Diane Henderson at (937) 327-3655.
