Wittenberg University is a nationally recognized college for the liberal arts and sciences affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Wittenberg is distinguished by its strong interdisciplinary programs such as East Asian Studies and Russian and Central Eurasian Studies. Although Wittenbergâ??s traditional strengths have been in the liberal arts, the sciences, management and education are popular majors for students. Internships, study abroad, required community service, and thriving pre-professional programs, including pre-engineering, pre-medicine and pre-law, contribute to the educational experience of Wittenberg students.

Approximately 2,000 full-time students are currently enrolled, representing 36 states and 16 foreign countries. Forty-six percent of students are male; 54 percent are female.
