Retired U.S. Navy Rear Admiral speaks in Springfield

 

 
  • Retired U.S Navy Rear Admiral Deborah A. Loewer special guest speaker at the Woman's Town Club in Springfield as part of the Women's History Month. A graduate of Springfield Shawnee High School and Wright State University. As one of the first women officers assigned shipboard duty, then Lieutenant , junior grade Lower served on the destroyer tender USS Yosemite AD-19 as electrical division officer, operations officer, navigator and administrative officer. On September 11, 2001 traveling with President George W.
