The demolition of the Terpenning family home at 548 Carthage Drive in Beavercreek has been pushed back to 1 p.m. this afternoon.

Demolition was initially supposed to start about 10 a.m. today, Aug. 1. Between 300 and 400 spectators have already gathered to witness the event being filmed for an episode of ABC reality show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."

Once begun the demolition will take about three hours. Spectators must park at the old Eastgate Ford off North Fairfield Road. There is a shuttle service running from there.
