Some may have experience at sing-alongs from the Art’s Council’s presentation of “Sing-a-long-a Sound of Music” a few years ago.

The format is easy: Settle in a seat, watch the film and get ready to sing along to the lyrics projected on the screen. More than likely, you probably already know them.
“This is one of those fun activities where you may know the scenes and songs by heart and want to share them with friends and strangers who feel like friends,” said Tim Rowe, Arts Council Executive Director.
The fun doesn’t end there. Things get started with a vocal warm-up by the evening’s host and guests will receive “magic moments fun packs” they can use during the show.
“Sing-a-long-a Grease” isn’t all about the vocals. You can also learn to do the hand jive for that scene.
It wouldn’t be a complete event without a little cosplay. Become a Pink Lady or T-Bird or just come as somebody from the 1950s and you could win a prize in a costume competition.
“”Grease” is a classic film and one of the most fun to sing along with. This is some of the most fun you can have doing both,” said Rowe.
Tickets are available online here and a limited number of tickets will also be available an hour before showtime at the John Legend Theater.
