New program seeks to reach Clark County overdose patients, save lives

TLC to feature Kelly Clarkson and her family connection to Ohio politics


Southeast Ohio and the Ohio Statehouse are prominently featured in an episode of “Who Do You Think You Are,” a TV show on the TLC channel that helps celebrities investigate their family history.

In tonight’s season premiere, singer Kelly Clarkson visits the Statehouse after discovering she is related to Isaiah Rose, a Union soldier during the Civil War and state senator. Clarkson travels around Ohio as she learns more about Rose, her great-great-great grandfather on her mother’s side .

The episode airs at 9 p.m. on TLC.
