Cedarville University grad contestant on tonight's ‘The Biggest Loser’

Viewers will get the chance to watch a Cedarville University graduate and former employee compete on Season 14 of NBC’s “The Biggest Loser,” airing in a two-night premiere event, from 9 to 11 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, and 8 to 10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7.

Michael Dorsey, 34, from Baltimore, Md., graduated from Cedarville in 2000, and after graduating, worked at the university for six years as the coordinator of intercultural recruitment. Dorsey, at 444 pounds, is the heaviest of this season’s contestants, and hopes to lose between 150 and 180 pounds during “The Biggest Loser.”

In a season NBC said will be “unlike any other,” the show will feature youth participants, in addition to 15 adults who want to lose weight and change their lives. The adults will compete for $250,000.

In December, we talked to Dorsey about “The Biggest Loser.” Read what he told us here.
