CEDARVILLE — This time, they’re coming back as conquering heroes, er, disciples.
The Christian rock band Switchfoot will be playing Cedarville University on March 28.
The band last played Cedarville in 2003. Heck, they even played Maiden Lane Church of God in Springfield in June 2001.
Then came 2004.
The band crossed over to the secular world, big time, with “Meant to Live,” which landed the group in the Top 20, which in turn led to a multiplatinum album, “Beautiful Letdown.”
Tickets for the band’s return appearance are priced at $18 for the general public ($12 for anyone associated with the university), and go on sale Monday, Feb. 22, at cedarville.edu/concertseries or by calling (866) 612-0014.
