‘Downton Abbey’ parody, ‘Stomp’ added to Victoria Theatre lineup

“The Illusionists,” “Stomp” and “America’s Got Downton” have just been added to the Victoria Theatre Association’s 2014-15 Star Attractions series.

“The Illusionists,” slated for Jan. 13-14, showcases the talents of seven illusionists. “Stomp,” which turns everyday items — from matchboxes and brooms to garbage cans and Zippo lighters — into musical instruments, will be appearing Feb. 28-March 1.

On April 7-8, “America’s Got Downton,” a one-man parody in which actor Luke Kempner creates more than 30 characters from the popular PBS series, will come to the Victoria Theatre.

Tickets for these and select Star Attraction presentations go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12. Call the Ticket Center Stage at (937) 228-3630 or toll free 888- 228-3630, or go online to www.ticketcenterstage.com or visit the Box Office located in the Wintergarden Schuster Center in downtown Dayton.
