The event will feature more than 30 vendors this year, including for new home construction, remodeling, landscapers and others. The Clark County Land Bank will also be on hand to answer any questions from residents.
Slightly fewer vendors than in years past will participate, Kegley said, but previous events have included several arts and crafts vendors who did not necessarily fit the show’s theme.
The Clark County Land Bank also purchased the shuttered Macy's property at the mall to redevelop it.
“Just about anything you want to do to your home is going to be represented at the show this year,” Kegley said.
The mall will be a good fit because it will allow more room for visitors to browse local vendors and because it's less expensive, he said.
“It will be more compact and not so spread out,” Kegley said.

Dwayne Brubaker, owner and partner at Countryside Builders, has been attending the event for about 15 years. The business focuses on new construction, remodeling and home additions and has been in the area for about 40 years, he said. The company has received some business from past shows, but he said the biggest benefit is allowing potential customers to learn more about the company and its services.
“We feel it’s just good to keep our name out and make sure people see and recognize us,” Brubaker said.
Brian Shampton, president at Reliant Restorations, has been in business for five years and will attend the show for the first time this year. The company specializes in repairing homes and businesses that have been damaged by fire, wind, mold or other issues. The company recently began taking on some remodeling jobs as well.
“We’re reaching out to the end user to let people know we’re around and to build familiarity with our brand so people know they’ve got somebody to call right here in town,” Shampton said.
