Dental practice changes ownership

Andrea Myers, a pediatric dentist, has purchased the practice of Dennis Baum at his office at 2200 Olympic St.

Myers completed her master’s degree in pediatric dentistry from Indiana University while serving as chief resident at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis.

In a press release, Myers said she feels it is important to treat the underserved and accepts insurance and all Medicaid products. She performs dental surgeries at the Springfield Regional Medical Center. She also recommends children should begin to visit a dentist by the time they are one and to establish a dental home.
